Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is highly recommended despite a leaky toilet causing an unpleasant smell near the entrance. The overall stay is great and would be rated even higher if not for uncomfortable thin mattresses in some rooms. The service was professional and friendly. The location, while not as close to Kumado area of Akakura Onsen ski field as expected, offers easy access to local attractions and slopes. The dining experience is good, catering more to Japanese tastes. The facilities are well-maintained.
The hotel rooms are very big and comfortable, and I'd recommend it. However, the staff could spend more time learning Japanese instead of relying on Google Translate. The location is great with a short walk to all local attractions and the Akakura Onsen slopes.
The hotel is perfect for families and skiing enthusiasts, offering rooms that we loved. The service, despite some seasonal worker issues, managed all our requests well. The location is amazing and the dining, though catered more towards Japanese tastes, was fine. Facilities are suitable for a ski trip.
